About Thamod
Thamod is an independent buying-guide site about computer monitors for home offices. We help you find a screen that suits your desk, your computer and the work you do every day.
You don't need to know what a panel type or a refresh rate is to use our guides. We explain words like 1440p, 4K, USB-C and KVM in plain terms.
What we cover
Our guides cover 24, 27 and 32 inch office monitors, ultrawide and curved screens, and two-monitor setups. They also cover monitors that work well with a Windows laptop, a MacBook or a Mac mini, including ones that charge a laptop over one cable.
We also answer the questions that come up after you buy, like how to set up two screens, how to clean a monitor safely and how long a monitor should last.
How we work
We read the specs, manuals and maker information for every monitor we cover. We also look at what owners often say after months of daily use.
Then we write plain guides, side-by-side comparisons and clear picks. Our How we research page explains each step.
What we don't do
We don't make or sell monitors or any other product. No brand pays us to rank its products.
We aren't affiliated with Dell, LG, Samsung, ASUS or any other maker we write about.
We don't claim to have used every monitor ourselves. When we pick one, we tell you why, based on its specs, its features and owner feedback.
How we earn money
Some links on this site go to stores like Amazon. If you buy through one, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.
That never changes which monitors we pick. Our affiliate disclosure has the details.
